Climate
The Lakeshore areas have a low rainfall, and a warm relaxing climate, which mean daily temperatures ranging from 29deg C in January to 21 deg C in July. The highland areas (such as Zomba Mountain) have greater temperatures changes, and the air is bracing. The nights can be cold. The dry season is between May and October, with rain intermittent during the remaining months but particularly between December and March. However, there is always ample sunshine at the Lakeshore.
